AIDEN AND BUTTERCUP
Aiden (in photo) and Buttercup were in Xpens next to each other one night and the next morning they were together. I still do not know how he got in there, but they have gotten along fabulously ever since. Of course, I would like them placed together. Aiden is a 4.5lb male rabbit, captured as a small stray in Queensbury, in June 2007. He was neutered in September. Aiden is a sweet rabbit who loves to be petted, though, like most rabbits, does not like to be picked up. He loves to explore and run around, but will happily stop for affection. His litter habits are nearly perfect, except for some stray pellets. Buttercup is a dwarf (spayed) that I rescued from a Petsmart ISO room where she was dying of pneumonia. After about a month of rehab she has recovered nicely and appears to have no long term repercussions from her illness. That was about 6 or 9 months ago. They are very good friends (although I think Mr A may have a little crush) who are currently enjoying a very large space in my basement. They have met my orange cat and have no reaction to him. They are visited frequently by my 2 year old daughter and enjoy her company very much (especially Buttercup). Buttercup is perfectly litter trained -- ever even a pellet strays. Aiden does have some wandering pellets :) but otherwise does great. They are great bunnies. We should have a photo soon of Buttercup. Please contact Davida.   Please be sure you have sent our adoption application to Davida before contacting us. SS |
ASPEN AND MARSHMALLOW Aspen is quite the doe's buck. He is very adventurous and has a thing for digging; hay, newspapers, dirt, the medium doesn't matter. He loves to dig. Marshmallow on the other hand would just like some peace and quiet to munch hay in. The two are cohabitating but enjoy time apart from one another. Aspen likes to visit the ladies. Marshmallow likes to just relax. Although they are pair, they don't appear to be devoted to one another and would not mind being adopted separately. Aspen and Marshmallow have been neutered/spayed. Contact Davida.   Please be sure you have sent our adoption application to Davida. before contacting us. Sy |
CASPER AND INDIGO
Casper and Indigo were found in a trailer park in Saratoga Springs. They are small, young bunnies, weighing 3 lb each. Casper, the male, is a little more timid than Indigo. Casper is very shy, so it takes him a while to feel comfortable with a new person. Indigo, a female, is more outgoing and quite curious. They are healthy and have been spayed and neutered. They have excellent litter-box habits. Casper and Indigo really enjoy running around their exercise pen and have not been caged since being in foster care. They are very sweet bunnies. Contact Davida.   Please be sure you have sent our adoption application to Davida. before contacting us. SS |
DAVIS AND JULIET
Juliet was rescued with her 2 sisters in the fall of 2006. Juliet had a severe case of fly strike, but has made a full recovery. She is a 5 lb cinnamon colored up ear bun who is full of personality. Davis was rescued in the fall of 2006 after his third foster home. Davis is approx 2.5 years of age weighing 4.5 lb. He is an English Spot Lop, Cinnamon and white in color. Both buns were bonded as they seemed to enjoy the company of each other through their exercise pens. They make an adorable couple. This couple is full of life and are busy bunnies. It is recommenced that these bunnies have a large cage/ x-pen set up for living with supervised out time. Davis enjoys hiding under objects and seeing how high up on items he can get. They are both funny bunnies who will be sure to light up your lives. Davis has a chronic blocked/infected tear duct. If you or someone you know can provide this adorable couple with their forever home, please contact Davida.   Please be sure you have sent our adoption application to Davida before contacting us. EDELWEISS AND HYACINTH
Edelweiss is true to her name- soft and white. She is a medium sized bunny at 5.8 pounds who is looking for a quiet home. She likes to sit quietly and would love to be a study bunny. She is currently interested in the great philosophers and in particular Jeremy Bentham and his greatest happiness principle.
Edelweiss explained this passage as follows: eating carrots makes me happy so give me a carrot. Edelweiss has been spayed and is ready for adoption. Hyacinth is a large 8.6 pound quiet bunny who enjoys just hanging out. She currently has blue ears so can be easily identified -there are a bunch of white bunnies running around at the moment. Hyacinth is looking forward to being adopted by a teenager whom she will help with homework. She is not very good at math since she was spayed on April 18th but is very good at history, i.e. "This carrot is history." She excels in her use of time management and therefore she always finds time to snuggle. Hyacinth has been spayed and is ready for adoption. Edelweiss and Hyacinth are bonded and want to be adopted together. Contact Davida.   Please be sure you have sent our adoption application to Davida before contacting us. Sy |
ELLIE AND SHAMROCK
Shamrock (right) has hopped out of a desperate hoarder situation and is hoping you will ensure that his luck has changed by offering him the forever home he deserves. This snowy Netherland dwarf neutered male loves to sunbathe, gobble bananas, and lap up the attention he missed for so long. Shamrock is young and feisty with impeccable litterbox manners. He will cuddle in your arms for an hour, even falling asleep, then retire to his blue kitty tent where he feels most secure. Shamrock's scintillating pink eyes turn shades of blue and lavender in different lights. He is a tiny treasure! Ellie (left) is a sweetheart of a bunny girl who has recouperated from a head tilt. Thoughout treatment she's remained cheerful and active. She likes to cuddle with a stuffed toy. Ellie will need to grow into her big feet, but she's waiting to binky her way into your heart! If you or someone you know can provide Shamrock and Ellie with a forever home, please contact Davida.   Please be sure you have sent our adoption application to Davida before contacting us. Eliz |
