Ash

aka Hide N Go Bunny, this bun loves to hide. He doesn't like the vacuum but does love the dogs and her human. Big noises will make her jump. He makes a valiant effort to the idea of being snuggled but prefers playing hide and seek! This rabbit's parents are Buttercup and Hemlock.

This rabbit is part of the Snow Angles litter. They share a home with 2 mini daschounds, 3 older bunnies and their 2 legged care givers. They love snuggle time with their mini doxi on the couch every night for about an hour. They like to snuggle under the chins of their human companions or wedge themselves between the back of the couch and their human. When it's nap time, they all stretch out next to their litter box on a big cotton blanket. Litter box is very interesting to jump in and out of and enjoy hay, but not much time is spent in there as of yet. Binkys will start in order to get attention if they are delayed in the receipt of their cilantro.

Balsa

aka Social Bunnyfly, loves people more than his own buns. He is the first one up and at the door and the most resistant to being put to bed. He loves kisses all over and is happiest in the same place as her human. He likes the flashing lights on the tv or computer while she is snuggling her human, usually curled up under a lock of hair on the shoulder. Very happy soft eyes, not easily spooked or made nervous. This rabbit's parents are Buttercup and Hemlock.

Butternut

aka peanut bunny, was the runt of the litter, however, this grew a very big personality. When it's nap time, Butternut is up, while his siblings rest he is bouncing on them and his personality is best described as a rebel. Out going, in the food and water dishes with not only his face, but his front paws too! He is going to ensure that he grows big like the other buns. This bun finds the most excitement trying to dig into the back of his doxi companion. He is convinced the fur is just for her and looks very mystified when the dog gets up. This is also the most famous bunny in his local. All the friends have a special appreciation for such a tiny tiny bun and want to come love and see him, and he puts on quite the show. When a new person approaches, his face becomes very demure, almost knowing that it's time to be admired and in return he says thank you by falling asleep while still in the palm of your hand. Beech

aka Bunny the Explorer, he is my instigator that inspires all the other to explore new places. He is the first one to hop over a barrier her humans set up and the first one to wiggle into new space. He loves new sights, sounds and smells. This is a fearless bun but all that excitement makes her look for her human companion to flop in the lap of at the end of the day. It's exhausting to be that curious! This rabbit's parents are Buttercup and Hemlock.

Poplar

Poplar is the tiniest of the CNY abandonment case bunnies. He is very cute and very young. He is several weeks behind Aster in achieving milestone but is growing and thriving. He was part of a large group that was cruelly abandoned to die from heat and predators in a remote area of CNY. Some of the babies were barely weeks old. Despite daily efforts by our group of rescuers, some rabbits initially spotted in the dense vegetation were ultimately never able to be found and caught, and perished miserably. All that would have taken to avoid this situation would have been for the person dumping them to think about their welfare for one second and taken them to a shelter.

Neuman

Neuman is a 1 1/2 year old male who weighs 4.5 lbs. Before being rescued he had a difficult young life when he was caged with an un-neutered sibling and suffered through attacks and injuries. Neuman's injuries eventually healed and the only sign of his experience is a half chewed ear. He still looks handsome though! Although Neuman is curious about other buns, due to his prior trauma he would do best caged as a single rabbit. Neuman has tidy litter habits and is easy to handle. He enjoys being petted and loves to romp around during exercise time. Neuman is looking forward to the forever home where he will get lots of love.
