This is Eve. She’s starting to come around since she came to foster care at the beginning of August. She doesn’t quite know what to make of her new life. She had been outside for who knows how long with another female, Marmalade.

She’s probably about 3 years old, she had a litter of babies right after coming into rescue which was probably litter number 3 of the season. She will get spayed before being adopted out.

Eve will definitely need patience. This is not a bun who wants to be picked up or hop around like she owns the place. If she were a cat, she’d be the one you see only when it’s time to be seen. She will sit on or next to her foster mom when she’s out, but it’s more for feeling safe than for, ‘hey I want this.’ She has her own pen adjacent to Marmalade and another bun and she seems comfortable with them there, she’s not aggressive towards them.

I think she looks like a deer with her big dark eyes, her white under tail and the white line of her ears.
