Nick - Adopted!

Nick was rescued from a park in downtown Albany in December 2022. You can read about him in the Times Union here!  https://www.timesunion.com/news/article/Volunteers-rush-to-save-bunny-trio-ahead-of-17669931.php

Nick is a sweet, curious young bunny, so well liked by his fellow strays that he fathered nine kits with them! He won't be doing any more of that, but he's still inquisitive about every rabbit he meets, asking to be groomed and giving out kisses in equal measure. He's clearly looking for some-bun to love and could definitely brighten the day of a nice young lady rabbit.

Nick has excellent litterbox habits, will happily fall asleep in a human's lap, and is a star athlete who does epic bunny 500s and binkies. He's not the brightest so he will forgetfully tip over his water bowl in the middle of a cool breakdance. Or he will push at a toy until he's slid it out of his reach, then look confused about how it got there.

Sudden noises or movements can send him dashing around in a panic. For this reason, Nick wouldn't be happy in a home with small children. Due to his past experiences as a stray, he is also very scared of dogs.

Nick loves to munch on corrugated cardboard, but otherwise he isn't very destructive and doesn't explore with his mouth much at all. He would be a great free roam rabbit on a carpeted surface. (The fur on his heels is a bit thin due to his outdoor life, so he quite rightly refuses to hang out on hardwood, tile or linoleum.)

He does like being tall, which could get him in trouble if he was given the opportunity to climb up high. Fortunately, he is easy to pick up, making relocation less of a challenge when he gets himself into a tight spot.
