Noelle was rescued from a park in downtown Albany in December 2022. You can read about her in the Times Union here!

When Noelle was a stray, she would headbutt her rescuer's hand to ask for more treats, but would then dance out of reach when rescuers tried to catch her, tossing her head with glee. Her personality hasn't changed - Noelle can be mischievous and will never be described as a pushover. She is a delight to watch and would make an excellent companion for folks looking for a more 'catlike' rabbit who is interested in exploring, solving puzzles (sometimes by brute force!), and cuddling. She is easy to pick up and handle.

Noelle

She is an excellent litterbox user. She seems to drink more water and urinate more frequently than other rabbits her size. She had her kidney values checked at the vet and no issues were found, so the main impact is that her litterbox needs to be changed a bit more often.

Noelle loves to toss things around and will dig when she is feeling restless or wants attention. She does better with plenty of space and lots of toys. She prefers to interact with humans at ground level, but she isn't opposed to lap time. Like many rabbits, she can't see very well right in front of her, so if you offer treats from that angle, be careful of your fingers!

Due to Noelle's past experiences as a stray, she is very afraid of dogs.

Noelle is a clever, expressive and affectionate rabbit who is ready to be a delightful buddy for the right person, and maybe even the right rabbit companion.
