Vera - Adopted!

Hi, I'm Vera!
I'm a brave, older bun who has come a long way! I am about 7 years old and traveled from a New Jersey shelter. I am quite shy at first but will trust and love the person who gives me plenty of time to adjust and to get comfortable with my new space. (I am very good about using my litter box.)

My foster mom tells me often that I am a really smart bun! I love to follow her hands around to discover the pellets and greens she's holding, and I will happily chomp on my yummy hay for hours. I love to have my head scratched and will let you know I am happy by grinding my teeth. Once I am relaxed and feel safe, I will do zoomies and binks high in the air! 

I am a gentle soul, so will do best in a quiet household. I'm still learning to understand new noises and to trust human friends, but there are also noises I enjoy! I like soft music (such as folk and instrumental tunes), being read to, white noise, and my humans talking to me.
I can't wait to begin the next chapter with my forever family!
